Energy. Carbon. Landscape. Connected in one industrial project, starting in Almelo.

Its place in the bigger picture

Connect industry, carbon & landscape.

Development project · Almelo, Netherlands

JALO is developing an integrated energy project that puts heat to work and creates a route to permanent biogenic carbon removal. The intended connection with YOUR.earth takes part of future carbon-credit revenue back into agroforestry and landscape restoration in Overijssel.

01

Useful Heat

Use heat in production and develop opportunities for regional supply, subject to final connection and offtake arrangements.

02

Permanent Carbon Removal

Develop capture, transport and geological storage of biogenic CO₂. Net removals require lifecycle accounting, validation and verified storage.

03

Landscape Investment

An intended contribution from future verified carbon-credit revenue to YOUR.earth programmes in Overijssel. Final agreements and realised revenue remain conditions.

Nature Forever / Every part has a purpose

Build industry that creates value for the landscape around it.

FROM INDUSTRIAL VALUE.
TO A LIVING LANDSCAPE.

JALO adds an industrial route to Mauroo’s bigger picture. It connects energy production and a planned carbon-removal chain with the intention to invest in the landscape around it.

  1. 01 Industrial development

A viable energy project with clear regional needs.

  2. 02 Useful energy & heat

Put energy flows to work in industry and the region.

  3. 03 Permanent removal

Capture, transport, verified geological storage and net accounting.

  4. 04 Landscape investment

Future credit revenue intended for YOUR.earth programmes.

  5. 05 Regional restoration

Agroforestry, farmers, soil and biodiversity in Overijssel.

The ambition is clear.
The conditions stay visible.

The plant, carbon chain and landscape programme are in development. Realisation depends on financing, contracts, commissioning and verification. Designed capture capacity is not the same as realised net carbon removal or issued credits.

The proposed landscape contribution requires a final agreement and actual credit revenue. Energy performance, verified carbon removal and ecological results each need their own evidence.
